The Friends of Muir Wood Park was constituted in April 2005.

We consist of a small group of local residents and pupils/Headmistress of Nether Currie Primary School who all have the interests of the park and surrounding area at heart. We welcome anyone who has the same aims as the 'Friends' to join us.

We meet officially four  times a year at Nether Currie School and informally at other times as required.We plan to hold two events in the park each year - one in Spring and one in Autumn.These events consist typically of bulb/wild flower planting, litter picking, bird/bat box installation and events for the children.
